Job Description: Diesel Mechanic 

Position Type: Permanent
Pay Range: $28-$32 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with potential for overtime
  • Half-day every third Saturday of the month

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This position involves maintaining and repairing diesel machinery, specifically concrete pump trucks, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel-powered machinery, focusing on concrete pump trucks.
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventive care to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and equipment needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years working with diesel machinery, specifically concrete pump trucks.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulics, and related systems.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work scheduled hours, including a half-day every third Saturday.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate service records and adhere to safety standards.
