We are looking for a Dental Receptionist to join our practice. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors as they enter the dental office. The role includes scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, updating patient records, collecting payments, and filing insurance claims. The Dental Receptionist must maintain a professional demeanor and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all patients.

MUST ALSO SPEAK FLUENT ENGLISH AND SPANISH

Job Duties Include:

• Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using dental software systems such as Dentrix, EasyDental, eClinicalWorks, or similar
• Provide excellent customer service and patient support
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Coordinate with dental hygienists and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow
• Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed, such as filing, scanning, and data entry
• Manage the front desk area, including keeping it clean and organized

Skills:

• Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar medical administrative support role
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is preferred
• Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix, EasyDental,, eClinicalWorks, or similar
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records

Experience:

• Dental customer service: 2 years minimum (Mandatory)
• Dental terminology: 1 year (Mandatory)
• Computer skills: 2 years minimum (Mandatory)
