Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, switch gears, and generator service.
• Install and repair electrical systems, including power outlets, fixtures, and other equipment, in accordance with NEC standards.
• Communicate system issues effectively to customers and managers.
• Complete all required paperwork and checklists accurately.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and vehicle.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years as an electrician working with an electrical contractor and knowledge of NC state and local electrical code (required).
• Certifications: NC Electrical License issued by the NC State Electrical Board (preferred).
• Background Check: Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check (required).
• Flexibility: Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, and other confined areas, and willingness to work variable hours, including on-call rotations.
• Clean Driving Record: Valid driver's license with a 3-year clean driving record.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Tools: Basic personal tools for service work (we provide larger tools).
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
