Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our growing team. A leading tool and die manufacturer providing high-quality solutions for multiple industries, including automotive, aerospace, medical devices, and consumer products. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for sales, customer relations, and technical products. The role involves driving new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and representing the company in a positive and professional manner. The position requires quarterly travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Drive sales by identifying new business opportunities and managing existing client relationships in multiple industries including automotive, aerospace, medical, and consumer products.
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the company’s full range of tool and die products, including design, manufacturing, and custom solutions, to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Sales Strategy: Create and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Market Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering post-sales support.
- Travel Requirements: Occasional travel (once per quarter) to meet clients, attend trade shows, and explore new business opportunities. Travel may include overnight stays.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure that client requirements are clearly communicated and successfully executed.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline through the company’s CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a technical or manufacturing industry. Experience in tool and die, automotive, or similar sectors is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical products and services.
- Proven ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Travel: Must be able to travel up to once per quarter for client visits and industry events.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve both individual and company goals.
