We are currently seeking to hire a Boat Salesperson to join our team You will be responsible for overseeing and developing a sales team to drive company revenue.

• Position summary: Work with customers to identify boats that meet needs and desires. Guide customers through the purchase process. Position responsibilities:
• 1. Support a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• 2. Receive inquiries from customers requesting pricing quotes or general information either by phone, email, or in person.
• 3. Research customer inquiries using Internet sites, manufacturer contact or on-site reference materials.
• 4. Perform sales engagements with customers on site, reviewing product features and benefits
• 5. Maintain a strong knowledge of on hand and on order boat inventory.
• 6. Maintain a clean and professional work area.
• 7. Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.
• 8. Perform other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed. Perform on the water Demo's with customers.
• 9. Know how to drive a tractor to pull boats in and out of store.
• 10. To be able to make video's for online marketing and social media.
• Education and/or Experience High School education or equivalent experience Mathematical Skills / Reasoning Ability Ability to calculate figures such as discounts or percentages and make change to customers
• Communication Skills Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates Good phone and email etiquette
• Physical requirements Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to stand for extended periods Other Knowledge,
• Skills and Abilities Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers Ability to operate computer and perform email, etc. Marine knowledge helpful

Backing trailers, tractor driving skills, docking, safe boat driving are a must. We are a Mercury Platinum dealership as well as a Suzuki dealer. We offer benefits as well as vacation pay.
