Holiday Tree specializes in seasonal products, including Christmas Trees, Swags, Wreaths, Garlands, and Centerpieces. We operate both online and in a physical store, serving customers locally and internationally. We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in our store and warehouse.

Job Summary:

The Janitor will be responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the store and warehouse. This includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and maintaining an orderly space to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and Maintain Store and Warehouse Areas: Regularly sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, shelves, and other surfaces.

• Trash Management: Collect and dispose of trash from all areas, ensuring proper disposal and recycling practices.

• Restroom Maintenance: Keep restrooms clean, stocked, and sanitized at all times.

• Organize Warehouse: Assist in organizing inventory and materials to maintain a neat and orderly workspace.

• Stock Supplies: Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low to ensure all necessary items are available.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure all cleaning procedures meet health and safety standards to provide a safe environment for everyone.• Report Issues: Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required; willing to train the right candidate.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.

• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.

• Time Management: Ability to manage tasks efficiently and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.

• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and the proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
