Responsibilities
 

• Drive a 2023 Mercedes Sprinter van to scheduled appointments, equipped for comfort year-round.
• Provide grooming services (bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling) according to customer preferences and breed standards.
• Ensure pets' safety and comfort with gentle handling and positive reinforcement.
• Assess each pet's coat and skin condition and communicate concerns to owners.
• Educate owners on grooming techniques and recommend home care products.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming van and equipment.
• Manage appointments efficiently to maximize productivity.
• Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

Requirements
 

• A deep love for animals
• Proven experience as a professional pet groomer, skilled in grooming techniques and breed-specific cuts.
• Valid grooming license for the areas we service (required).
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Passion for animals and the ability to handle pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pet owners.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality grooming services.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
• Certification from a reputable grooming school (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs or temporarily handle large dogs.
