Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Representative to join our team in Farmington, MI. This is a commission-only role with unlimited earning potential. The company will provide you with hot, pre-qualified residential leads to help you close sales quickly. You will earn 10% commission on each job sold, 5% on recurring contracts, and 3% on contracts that renew over a 3-year period. While prior experience in landscaping is a plus, it is not required for the right candidate. If you're driven, self-motivated, and excited by the potential to earn through performance, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Provided Leads: You will receive hot, residential and commercial landscaping leads from the company, ready for immediate follow-up.

  • Creation of Pipeline: Actively build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by consistently adding new prospects and ensuring a full calendar of meetings and follow-ups.

  • Sales Presentations & Negotiation: Present and sell our landscaping services (both commercial and residential) to potential customers, negotiate terms, and close sales effectively.

  • Focus on Recurring Revenue: Prioritize securing recurring contracts for landscaping services and build long-term relationships with clients to maximize revenue.

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales goals for both new sales and recurring contracts across residential and commercial sectors.

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate lasting relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, repeat business, and positive referrals.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful project execution.

  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM software to ensure all sales data is tracked and updated.

  • Support from Personal Assistant: You will have a personal assistant to help manage your schedule, assist with administrative tasks, track leads, and keep your calendar full with meetings, follow-ups, and sales calls.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, with a strong ability to close deals. Experience in residential sales is preferred but not required.

  • Landscape industry experience is a plus but not essential—training will be provided for the right candidate.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and handle rejection.

  • Ability to quickly build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.

  • Familiarity with CRM software to track leads and manage sales activities.

  • Previous experience working in a commission-only sales environment is a plus.

Compensation Structure:

This is a commission-only role with significant earning potential:

  • 10% Commission on Each Job Sold: Earn 10% commission on each new residential job you close.

    • Example: For a $10,000 sale, you will earn $1,000 commission.

  • 5% Commission on Recurring Contracts: Earn 5% commission on the annual revenue of recurring contracts you secure.

    • Example: For a $20,000 annual recurring contract, earn $1,000 in the first year.

  • 3% Commission on Recurring Contracts After 3 Years: After 3 years, continue to earn 3% commission on the value of recurring contracts each additional year.

    • Example: After 3 years, for a $20,000 recurring contract, earn $600 annually for each subsequent year.

Commission Example Breakdown:

  • One-Time Sale: A $10,000 job → Commission = $1,000 (10% commission)

  • Recurring Contract (Year 1): A $20,000 annual recurring contract → Commission = $1,000 (5% commission)

  • Renewed Recurring Contract (Year 4+): A $20,000 recurring contract → Commission = $600 (3% commission after 3 years)
