In Maui, Hawaii, we are looking for a competent Optometrist  to help with the growth of our organization and help running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office skills and work diligently  while providing the highest level of patient care. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform eye exams  and assist associates in ways that optimize exams
  • Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
  • Create and update patient records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
  • Maximize care
  • Maintain productive and respectful relationships with suppliers, patients  and colleagues
  • Perform duties when needed
Skills

  • Proven experience in multiple roles
  • Ability to learn how to use medical equipment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer and charting skills
