Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst assist in the preparation of both internal and external financial statements by applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information; prepare accurate and timely financial reports and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the preparation of monthly internal and external financial and operational reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for properly accounting for firm fixed price construction contracts and contractual relationships in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Tracks financial status by monitoring variances from budget.
  • Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentation of findings, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Complete ad hoc business tasks, including preparation of filings, external audit support schedules, and special purpose financial statements and reports.
  • Processes, solves and answers complex transactions, problems or inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA in Accounting or Finance required
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Financial Analyst role

Physical Requirements:

  • Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office setting. The role may require occasional travel.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
