We are seeking a skilled and experienced, traveling superintendent within our government contracts division. In this important role you are accountable for the on-site management of our government contracts division projects.

TRAVELING SUPERINTENDENT

You are responsible for the supervision of all phases of each project to include:

  • Ensure project integrity by delivering a project that meets and exceeds customer expectations and requirements while adhering to professional standards and ethics.
  • Enforce all company policies, procedures, and standard work practices.
  • Professionally serve as the Company’s job site representative and lead customer interface for each project. Attend all scheduled job meetings held by the general contractor.
  • Lead team to ensure that project goals are met, procedures and schedules followed, and costs properly managed.
  • Manage job site to ensure a safe, profitable, efficient, compliant, and professional project.
  • Manage all deliveries, rentals, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure the safety of all team members and promote strict quality control.
  • Develop, communicate, and coordinate all work plans and equipment needs.
  • Maintain all job site required documentation.
  • Coordinate efficient, safe, and organized operational flows including all workforce activities.
  • Manage all weekly safety meetings, schedule review meetings, and attend all GC weekly contractor meetings.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

-Minimum 5 years-experience as a construction superintendent

-Minimum 3 years’ experience in concrete construction

-OSHA 10 construction certification

-Valid driver’s license

-Willingness to travel and be stationed out of state for the duration of any given project

-Ability to work overtime as needed for project completion

-Ability to pass required government background checks, vetting and badging requirements

A Plus

-Bilingual: Spanish

-Experience in heavy civil construction

-Experience in large scale concrete construction

-Experience as a concrete construction superintendent

-OSHA 30

-EM-385-1-1 24hr

-ACI Finisher

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

-Proven ability to complete quality projects on time and within budget

-Extensive comprehension of construction processes, techniques, and best practices

-Expertise in commercial construction

-Experience with blueprints, construction documents, methods, scheduling, and safety standards

-Proven ability to manage subcontractors and field staff
