We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team

 

Responsibilities for the Construction Superintendent

• Provides leadership and manages all aspects of construction pertaining to the assigned job site.
• Monitors and advises all personnel assigned to the job site.
• Develops and maintains excellent working relationships with homebuyers, prospective homebuyers, and vendors
• Exercise initiative in organizing and completing assigned tasks according to established guidelines, safety standards and procedures, deadlines, and department parameters.

Requirements for the Construction Superintendent

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• At least four years of demonstrated experience as a Construction Superintendent in the home construction industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Thorough knowledge of the residential building industry and the ability to use general building tools and equipment.
• Requires excellent customer service and the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with homeowners and subcontractors, as needed.
• Highly organized with the ability to handle a multitude of projects simultaneously.
• Ability to properly delegate and follow up on tasks with a pleasant and approachable demeanor.
• Requires valid driver's license; vehicle insurance.
• Dust Control certification; General Contractor's license preferred; Working knowledge of construction codes.
