Apartment Maintenance Technicians Wanted
About the Job:
The Apartment Maintenance Technician reports to the Community Manager and the Resident Services Supervisor. This individual supplements maintenance, landscape and management efforts to keep the property in a clean and orderly condition that will meet company standards and attract residents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily attention to the appearance of the vacant apartments and common areas
- Painting and cleaning of vacant patios and touch-up cleaning of vacant apartments, as needed
- Exterior painting and cleaning, as needed, including, but not limited to parking spots, curbs, etc.
- Electrical, Plumbing, Drywall, Painting and Appliance Care
- Other duties that may be needed or required by the Community Manager or other supervisors
- Apartment turns and work orders
SKILLS:
- Work under direct supervision or minimal supervision
- Be able to comprehend and follow instructions
- Perform simple and repetitive tasks
- Be a team player
- At least 3-6 maintenance experience
- Own tools a plus
- HVAC a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Exposure to various types of weather conditions
- Standing, walking
- Pushing, pulling
- Crawling, kneeling
- Twisting, carrying
- Working with hands
