Job Overview:
AWS Carpenter Contractors is a leading provider of custom millwork solutions, specializing in high-quality woodwork for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. We are dedicated to delivering craftsmanship of the highest standard, and we are looking for a skilled Millwork Builder to join our dynamic team.
We are seeking an experienced Millwork Builder with expertise in working with wood. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crafting, assembling, and installing custom woodwork, including cabinetry, moldings, trim, and other architectural elements. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
**Fabrication:** Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood components according to design specifications and blueprints.
**Customization:** Create custom woodwork pieces tailored to specific client requirements, including unique designs and intricate details.
**Quality Control:** Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments or repairs as needed.
**Safety Compliance:** Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK
-Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Proven experience as a Millwork Builder or similar role with a focus on wood. - Proficient in the use of woodworking tools and machinery (e.g., saws, routers, planers, etc.).
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. - Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
