Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Superintendent to lead, manage, and coordinate all field aspects of construction on our luxury custom home projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing high-end residential construction, managing teams of subcontractors, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards, while providing exceptional service to the clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Oversee daily on-site operations for custom home projects, ensuring they are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Team Management: Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and internal teams. Foster a collaborative and safe work environment.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work meets the company's high-quality standards and adheres to all building codes and regulations.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor project costs, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within budget. Maintain and enforce project schedules, mitigating any delays or disruptions.
  • Client Relations: Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, designers, and project managers to ensure the client’s vision and expectations are realized.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during the construction process, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed on-site, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including schedules, change orders, inspection reports, and daily logs. Provide regular updates to project stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or Project Manager in luxury or custom home construction. Experience with high-end residential projects is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, blueprints, and architectural plans. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of subcontractors and tradespeople.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and quality.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectively manage client relationships and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify issues and develop solutions quickly.
  • Technology: Proficient with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications (preferred but not required): OSHA certification, LEED certification, or similar construction safety or environmental certifications.
