This position is not remote or hybrid.

Manages Human Resource department; establishes and administers the hospital human resource programs including recruiting, hiring, and terminating employees, salary administration, developing and updating personnel policies, employee relations, employee benefits.  This position is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support in developing, implementing and reviewing Human Resource functions.  This position acts as a resource to staff and management regarding Human Resource standards and practices to assure that CMH remains in compliance of all necessary laws and that a spirit of fairness is fostered.  

Job Requirements
Knowledge of/Skill/Ability to: Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and to make independent decisions, excellent listening, customer service and employee relation skills. Prior experiences in Human Resources and training experiences required. Good computer skills, and analytical abilities, including a knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management and a willingness to multi-task. Collaborative management skills.

License/Certification: PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.  

Education and/or Experience: Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree; Minimum Experience: 5 years; Preferred Education: Masters Degree

Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance: Position involves standing, walking, stooping, and occasional carrying and lifting of lightweight materials (up to 20 pounds). May be required to sit for extended periods of time. Requires visual acuity and depth perception to recognize words and numbers; and hand and finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination to use a computer keyboard and common office equipment.
