Hose Fabrication

Essential Functions

• Trouble-shoot, disassemble, clean, repair, rebuild and reassemble hydraulic cylinders
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed
• Test cylinders on a state-of-the-art testing table
• Manufacture hydraulic hoses using a high-pressure crimping machine
• Positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers
• Prepare proper documentation of actions taken
• Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Must have experience with the repair and rebuild of hydraulic cylinders
• Must have basic set of mechanic’s hand tools
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Experience with cranes and other heavy lift equipment is a plus

Education

· High school diploma/GED

· 2 years related experience
