International Aluminum Extrusions Corporation in Waxahachie Texas, we are a manufacturer of aluminum extruded Painted, Anodized and fabricated products. Currently we have full time openings on day shifts currently looking for people to support the Extrusion dept., packing function also Paint and Anodize departments. Processing and preparing quality extruded aluminum for shipment to meet customer’s expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

New employees must successfully complete 60 day training that will make it possible to perform essential duty satisfactorily. Performance and feedback review after 60 days.

Good attendance, reliable work history. Must have excellent safe work habits

Maintain a clean, organized work area with good housekeeping practices.

Team player with the ability to communicate effectively displaying a positive attitude

Employee is expected to wear required personal protective equipment & Steel toe shoes when on the production floor.

Communicate with team about quality, machine, or safety issues making sure that the supervisor is aware of any issues.

Other duties as assigned.

The general purpose of the Extrusion Press Saw Operator is to work as part of the extrusion team, running the extrusion saw safely and efficiently.

Operates the extrusion saw in a safe productive manner, making sure to not overload part cradles or damage parts during the stacking process.

Measure and examine extruded products during routine quality checks with the intent to locate defects and check part conformance to specifications found on blueprints.

Determine setup procedures according to specifications, document any inconsistencies or changes.

Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance on the extrusion saw and press area. (Ex. Monitor oil levels, change and replace worn tooling, basic cleaning).

Extrusion Press Stretcher is to work as part of the extrusion team, Operates the extrusion stretcher in a safe and productive manner, making sure to keep parts spaced properly to best utilize the space while not causing scratches or dents.

Measure and examine extruded products during routine quality checks with the intent to locate defects and check part conformance to specifications found on blueprints.

Determine setup procedures according to specifications and document any inconsistencies or changes.

Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance on the extrusion stretcher and press area. (Ex. Monitor oil levels, change and replace worn tooling, basic cleaning).

 

 

Cranes Operator is part of Anodize Team Move Load Bars of extrusion using overhead cranes between different vats during the anodizing cycle.

Operate overhead crane in a safe manner while being aware of your surroundings.

Visually inspect anodized extrusion to determine if the color achieved by anodizing meets customer’s order

Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance on the anodize line visual inspections of crane and hoists (Leaking tanks, Frayed cables, as for support to replace worn parts.)

Packing operator position visually inspect metal for defects and pack aluminum extrusions per customer specifications

All Employees must be able to perform duties and responsibilities as needed to cover vacation, absences, breaks, etc.

All Employees must adhere to IEC policies, procedures, and directives regarding safety and standards of workplace behavior, in completing job duties and assignments.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

High school diploma; general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience, for ticket writer position some computer experience preferred.

Mathematical Skills

Basic math skills ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with l0's and l00's. Compute percent

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete routine reports

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands

Physical Demands refers to the level and/or duration of physical exertion generally required to perform occupational takes (sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing and pulling).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and use hands to handle, or touch objects or controls. Perform repetitive motion of fingers, hands, wrists, shoulders and upper body. The employee is regularly required to walk and reach with hands and arms. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste and smell. The employee must frequently lift up 10 to 25 pounds

Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships), and ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, heat and occasionally wet or humid conditions and caustic chemicals.

The noise level in typically loud in this work environment. Hearing protection is required.

1-2years manufacturing experience preferred
