Janitorial Quality Assurance Manager

The Janitorial Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the quality of janitorial services across multiple sites. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build relationships with staff and clients to maintain and improve service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with cleaning protocols, safety standards, and client requirements.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and checklists for janitorial operations.
- Train and mentor cleaning staff to uphold quality standards and efficient workflows.
- Communicate with clients to address concerns, receive feedback, and ensure satisfaction.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality inspections and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Collaborate with the management team to optimize processes and introduce innovations.
- Monitor supply inventories and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate resources are available.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a janitorial or facility management role, with at least 1 year in a quality assurance or supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and safety procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights from quality inspection reports.
- Proficient in using quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various client sites as needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing janitorial services in sectors such as education, healthcare, or large commercial facilities.
- Certifications in cleaning and sanitation standards (e.g., CIMS, OSHA).
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
