CEPRA Crew Leaders are responsible for leading a production crew to complete high-quality landscape maintenance safely. A successful Crew Leader understands the principles of working efficiently through planning and execution and ensures team members perform at a high level. At CEPRA, the Crew Leader role is more than a job, it's where leadership and careers begin.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Safety:

· Lead by example – Wear proper PPE, adhere to safety protocols, and promote safe working conditions with your team in the field.

· Safety Focused – Work in step with your team and monitor crew members to ensure they are always working safely.

· Communicate – Identify and report site-specific hazards or safety concerns to your manager.

Production and Quality:

· Maintain high quality landscapes that exceed customer expectations. We want you to perform work that you are proud of.  

· Ensure the crew follows the production plan for efficiency and consistency. This includes following proper task sequence and path of motion.

· Proactively communicate any job site challenges, changes, or delays to your manager.

Training & Development:

· Participate in mandatory and optional training to build your skills and knowledge base. Continuous personal and crew improvement will provide career advancement opportunities.

· Train and mentor Lead Men and Gardeners to improve their skills and performance. Provide coaching and feedback to crew members to help them advance within the company.

· Stay close to new hires and ensure they are properly trained in safety and equipment use.

Qualifications:

· Experience in commercial landscape maintenance or a closely related field.

· Commitment to safety and quality.

· Strong leadership and communication skills.

· Willingness to work with and lead in a group of diverse backgrounds.

· Bilingual is a plus but not required.

· Valid and clean Driver's License is a plus but not required.

Capacitación y desarrollo:

· Capacita y asesora a los Jefes de Obra y Jardineros para mejorar sus habilidades y rendimiento. Ofrece entrenamiento y practica a los miembros del equipo para ayudarlos a progresar dentro de la empresa.

· Mantente cerca de los nuevos empleados y asegúrate de que reciban la capacitación adecuada en seguridad y uso del equipo.

Calificaciones:

· Experiencia en mantenimiento de jardines comerciales o un campo relacionado.

· Compromiso con la seguridad y la calidad.

· Sólidas habilidades de liderazgo y comunicación.

· Disposición para trabajar y liderar en un grupo de personas con diversos orígenes.

· Ser bilingüe es una ventaja, pero no un requisito.

· Tener una licencia de conducir válida y sin problemas es una ventaja, pero no un requisito.
