We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team

Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on construction equipment & trucks at various work sites and company shop.
  • Inspect equipment for faulty parts.
  • Analyze and diagnose mechanical issues.
  • Create a plan of action for all repairs.
  • Follow checklists and protocols while conducting repairs.
  • Track and maintain all maintenance data & records.
  • Follow all health and safety laws and guidelines as well as common-sense safety practices.
  • Maintain a safe, organized and tidy workspace.
  • Applicant is expected to work on several different and demanding tasks that require substantial effort and commitment.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 3 - 5 years experience working on heavy trucks/equipment gas & diesel engines.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Self motivated.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to perform the physical requirements of the position.

Additional Benefit - Pension

Passing a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing is required.
