Job Overview: As the Deburr Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Working hours will be 3:30pm-2:00am, Mon-Thurs with opportunity for overtime on Fridays as business dictates.

  • You will be responsible for the oversight and direction of up to 10-14 employees on 2nd shift.

  • Training of new employees on all job responsibilities in the department and adhering to all safety protocol.

  • Managing the daily work flow through the department to meet the demands of production.

  • Confirming the quality of parts before they leave the department.

  • Over seeing of parts in order of the production schedule and customer orders prior to parts moving into secondary operations.

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a professional manner and meet daily production schedules.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be Bi-lingual, English & Spanish-Ability to read and write English.

  • Must be a clear and thorough communicator, able to provide detailed oral and written instructions to employees.

  • Must be familiar with hand grinders (removal of metal imperfections, metal tabs, burrs and laser oxide)

  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Eager to bring your supervisory team building skillset into an advanced manufacturing facility.

  • Must be an organized and detailed individual willing and able to contribute to a winning team effort.

  • Must be punctual and prompt on a daily consistent basis and willing to set a lead example.

  • Begin and finish each day with a zero defect mentality and commitment to producing a quality, American made product.

  • Supervisor/Manufacturing/Operations experience a must (2-3 years preferred)

  • Must have experience managing and supervising 10-14 people in past working experience to ensure a positive and successful department

Physical Requirements and Duties:

  • Ability to reach, turn, twist, and walk.

  • Ability to stand for the duration of a work shift, 10+ hours.

  • Ability to lift 35 lbs. at a time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift experience a plus.
