We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide quality, personalized care to patients in their homes. The HHA will assist clients with daily living activities, monitor their health, and promote a safe, comfortable living environment. The ideal candidate will have a caring demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to helping others maintain their independence and well-being

Key Responsibilities

- Provide assistance with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.  

- Help clients with mobility, including transfers, walking, and range-of-motion exercises.  

- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines, and assist with feeding as necessary.  

- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.  

- Monitor clients' health and report changes in condition or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.  

- Administer prescribed medications under supervision, if permitted by state regulations.  

- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities.  

- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.  

- Follow care plans established by the healthcare team and document daily activities and observations.  

- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines.  

 

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.  

- Valid Home Health Aide certification (if required by the state).  

- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or a similar role is preferred.  

- Knowledge of basic health and safety practices, including infection control.  

- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.  

- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, and assisting with mobility.  

- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if required for travel).  

- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
