Wafer Fab Technician

We are seeking a Thin Film Wafer Fab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the thin film deposition process in a cleanroom environment, working with advanced technology and equipment to manufacture semiconductor wafers. Location: Shoreview, MN

Wage: $20 - $30/hr. depending on experience 

Hours: 

• 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
• 2nd shift, Monday – Friday, 2 pm – 10:30 pm

Duties of the thin film wafer fab technician:

• Operate and maintain thin film deposition equipment to ensure smooth production.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters to maintain product quality.
• Perform routine inspections and testing on wafers to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Record data on production runs and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Adhere to cleanroom and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements of the thin film wafer fab technician:

• Experience in wafer fabrication or thin film processes is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise work instructions.
• Familiarity with cleanroom procedures.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• ITAR compliance: Applicants must be U.S. persons under ITAR regulations.
