Animal Care Technician

Responsible for the maintenance, setup, and care of various animal species for research studies, following regulatory standards and under supervision. Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and maintaining cages, pens, equipment, and workspaces.
• Ensuring animals are clean, comfortable, and well cared for, including feeding, watering, and safe handling.
• Monitoring environmental conditions and reporting deviations to the supervisor.
• Conducting clinical observations, sample collection, and tracking food consumption.
• Collecting and recording research data and biological specimens in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), study protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Supporting technical tasks as trained and assigned by supervisors.
