We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual for our client in Phoenix, AZ as a Food QC Technician. Location: Phoenix, AZ Schedule: Monday - Friday - Saturday's as needed / 2 pm - 11 pm Pay rate: $20 - $21 Duties:
  1. Maintain product quality by analyzing manufacturing and engineering requirements and devising
    testing methods and procedures.
  2. Establish product quality documentation by writing and implementing quality assurance
    procedures.
  3. Interact with the leadership group, production team members, and maintenance departments to
    improve and maximize plant output, efficiency, quality and safety.
  4. Manage Quality Control Program that ensures that product is inspected to meet acceptable safety
    quality standards.
  5. Maintain and achieve internal quality targets and measurements.
  6. Ensure Production and other support areas of the plant are maintained to the highest standards and
    in strict conformation to GMP standards.
  7. Achieve quality targets and ensure accurate records of quality compliance.
  8. Ensures cleanliness, sanitation and overall organization of manufacturing areas.
  9. Ensures consistency with quality standards, practices, and policies.
  10. Support change efforts at manufacturing plant to improve and enhance quality systems.
  11. Support training of quality procedures throughout the plant.
  12. Communicate with production in regard to productivity status and discrepancy.
  13. Perform other duties assigned by Executive Management to support the department.
  14. Safeguards and maintains company equipment and property, including Personal Protection
    Equipment (PPE).
  15. Ensure all areas are kept clean at all times.
  16. Attends all company training sessions
Requirements:
  1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar quality control role
  3. Ability to work in a cold environment, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  4. 1 year of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or food manufacturing, preferably in a frozen food environment.
  5. Must be able to work overtime as needed
  6. Must be able to work in a cold environment ( -20 / -25 degrees )
