Certified Pharmacy Technician Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $24.45/hr
  • Benefits: Available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • 401(k): Company match available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on eligibility dates
  • This is a contract position with the potential for extension or conversion based on business needs.

Certified Pharmacy Technician Schedule

  • Shift: 9am-6pm or 1:30pm-10pm M-F
  • Rotating Weekends 9am-5pm

Certified Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

· Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist fills prescriptions and prepares IVs.

· Works with Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement payment.

· Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards and government regulations.

· Assists the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions which may include stating the medication for RPh final review and/or packaging of medication post RPh final review and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.

· Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices which may include receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies posting lot numbers expiration dates and assisting in physical inventory.

· Works with Technician Supervisor in maintaining a clean/safe work environment checking equipment for calibration safety and cleanliness

Certified Pharmacy Technician Requirements

Required Education:

  • Required Certifications: KS Tech License
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
  • High School Diploma
