Restoration Technician

Are you the type of person who hates sitting still?  You need to be out in the community, not stuck in an office?  Then we need you   We are looking for energetic individuals who want to grow with the fastest-growing restoration company in America.

·      Hourly: $20 - $25/hour

·      Job Type: Full-time

·      Performance Incentives: Yes

·      Profit Sharing: Yes 

·      Overtime:  Yes

·      Paid Vacation: Yes

·      401(k): Yes, with employer match

·      Work Remotely: No

·      Florida Driver’s License: Required, with a clean driving record (background check)

 

·      Minimum Expectations:

o   Customer Service: We are serious about consistently providing excellent customer service.  Do what you tell customers you would do (e.g., respond to customers’ phone calls, emails, text messages, etc.; arrive on time for daily job sites inspection, among other things).

o   Personal Hygiene:  Your appearance, odor, and behavior will be perceived as a reflection of the company.

o   Your Driving: Drive properly as if you are taking your driving test.  If you drive like a jerk, the public will perceive your behavior as a reflection of the company. (e.g., running red lights, cutting off others, etc.)  

o   Equipment:  We buy the best equipment.  If you mistreat the equipment causing damage to it, you will pay for it (i.e., you break it, you bought it).

o   The Van: The cargo van (i.e., a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter) is a mobile office and reflects the company.  It is not a garbage truck.  If you keep your car filthy, you will likely do the same with the van.  As such, you need not apply. 

o   24/7: We provide 24/7 emergency services; therefore, you must be available 24/7.

·      Minimum Qualifications:

o   Must be IICRC WRT certified.  The company will pay for additional certifications.

o   Must have a strong work ethic and integrity while being polite and reliable.  If you lack any of these qualifications, you will not last.

o   Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

  • Setup and breakdown of job sites.

o   Document the job scope and progress with pictures, logs, e-mails, etc. Must document work performed and submit paperwork promptly.

  • Must be comfortable with math to estimate (perimeter, area, square feet, cubic feet, etc.).
  • Maintain equipment in a clean, safe, and ready state.

o   Must effectively communicate technical information.

o   Must be comfortable in crawl spaces, attics, dirty water, etc.

  • Assist with planning, coordinating, training, job quotes, etc. 

o   Must have a clean driving record and a valid Florida driver’s license.

o   Must be willing and able to work flexible schedules (e.g., overtime and weekend hours).

·      Core Responsibilities:

  • You must always, always, always answer your phone.  Your phone goes wherever you go.
  • Set up equipment per IICRC standards and breakdown of job sites.
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, training, job quotes, etc.
  • Maintain vehicle and equipment in a clean, safe, and ready state.

o   Must effectively communicate technical information to non-technical customers.

  • Must be comfortable with math to estimate (perimeter, area, square feet, cubic feet, etc.).

o   Must be comfortable in uncomfortable environments (e.g., crawl spaces, attics, dirty water, etc.) 

o   The role will afford you opportunities for advancement as the company grows and according to your qualifications.

o   Must document work performed in Service Titan promptly (e.g., job scope and progress with pictures, logs, e-mails, etc.)
