About the Role:
As a Welder in the Woodworking Machine industry, you will play a crucial role in the production and assembly of high-quality metal products. Your expertise in various welding techniques will ensure that all components are joined securely and meet the stringent quality standards required in our operations. You will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise welds on carbon steel and other materials. The end result of your work will contribute significantly to the durability and functionality of our products, impacting customer satisfaction and company reputation. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in welding, specifically with arc, TIG, and MIG techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in welding from an accredited institution.
- Experience with metal fabrication and brazing techniques.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform arc, TIG, MIG, and flux core welding on various materials, primarily stainless steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
- Utilize overhead cranes to move and position materials safely during the welding process.
- Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any welding-related issues that arise during production.
Skills:
The required skills in arc, TIG, and MIG welding will be utilized daily to ensure that all welds are executed with precision and meet industry standards. Your ability to read blueprints will guide your work, allowing you to understand the specifications and requirements for each project. Proficiency in using overhead cranes will enhance your efficiency in moving heavy materials, ensuring a smooth workflow.
