We are currently seeking a Traveling Electrician (Project Manager) You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers in the commercial, residential and industrial segments. We are looking for a traveling electrician to put their tools on get into a variety of different projects. This job requires a solid understanding of all facets of the electrical trade and an ability to think on one's feet and get problems fixed. This position can require up to 30 percent overnight travel. Your main focus as a traveling electrical project manager will be get on and off job sites in the most safe and efficient manner while ensuring job completion. No two days will be the same as you could be locally on a ground up construction project one day and going across the country to do EV or solar service the next day. Responsibilities:
- Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
- Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
- Troubleshoot motor and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
- Solid Knowledge of NEC
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
