The job is open for Full-Time or Part-Time applicants

Job Description:

At Walk-In MD Clinic you are part of a clinical team who will triage patients, perform duties within your scope of practice and work as a team to provide the best care for our patients.

What you’ll do:

  • Patient triage, to include but not limited to vital signs; medical history; observational examination.
  • Assist with any and all patient exams, testing and procedures under the direction of the provider.
  • Blood draw/phlebotomy
  • Administration of medication and immunizations as outlined by Walk In MD Medical Assistant scope of practice.
  • Assist with patient call backs to include, but not limited to, answering of patient questions within scope, reporting test results, medication/therapy changes.
  • Assists in maintaining adequate clinical supplies inventory by checking & notating when stock levels are low.

About you:

  • Graduate of Medical Assistant program with active Certified Medical Assistant License/Registered MA License
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification Preferred; American Red Cross BLS Certification Accepted
  • 12hr shifts and weekends.

 

Available Positions: Full-Time, Part-Time and Per Diem

 

 

Experience:

· Strong knowledge of how to use EMR systems.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively learn new knowledge and skills.

· Must be able to work 12 hours shifts, weekends and holidays per policy.

Other:

· Great customer service skills, knowledge of EMR systems, and wiliness to learn.
