Position Overview
The Inside Sales Specialist will support the commercial sales team at Renaissance Electronics, a division of AEM, Inc. This role focuses on managing the entire quote lifecycle, maintaining accurate CRM records, and driving new business development through lead generation activities. The Inside Sales Specialist will work closely with the sales, engineering, operations, and marketing teams to align sales activities with company goals. Success in this role will require efficiency in managing quoting processes, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring operational coordination to meet stretch targets.
Key Responsibilities
Quote Management:
Prepare quotes by coordinating with process engineering, quality, purchasing, and manufacturing teams within a 24–48-hour turnaround window.
Enter and manage quotes in Salesforce (SFDC), ensuring data accuracy and timely follow-ups with prospects and customers.
Handle expired quotes, providing re-quotes to maintain pricing competitiveness and retain business opportunities.
DoD Program Reviews and Business Development:
Conduct DoD award reviews and generate target lists of government programs for AEM’s participation.
Utilize ZoomInfo and LinkedIn to identify and connect with key decision-makers such as engineering managers, VPs, and procurement heads.
Set up webinars, conference calls, and meetings to engage new prospects and promote Renaissance’s solutions portfolio.
Marketing and New Product Introduction (NPI):
Collaborate with the marketing team to support new product introductions and ensure effective market positioning.
Assist in executing marketing campaigns aimed at generating leads and increasing brand awareness.
Maintain relationships with customers and manufacturer representatives to promote cross-selling opportunities across AEM divisions.
CRM Management and Sales Reporting:
Maintain CRM (SFDC) data accuracy, ensuring that all interactions and sales activities are properly recorded for forecasting and reporting.
Generate and analyze weekly and monthly sales reports to track progress against goals and identify areas for improvement.
Operational Support and Prebuild Planning:
Coordinate book/ship logistics to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Work closely with operations teams to align with Annual sales goals and stretch targets, contributing to daily, weekly, and monthly planning activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in an inside sales role within electronic components, semiconductors, or related industries.
Knowledge of quoting processes and CRM systems (Salesforce or similar tools).
Experience supporting DoD programs and navigating government contracting requirements.
Proficiency in lead generation tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a focus on detail.
