Job Title: Electrician Mechanic

Type: temp-to-hire | Full Time |on site

Compensation/Shift Hours:

  • $30-35/hour
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Description: As an Maintenance Electrician Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our manufacturing and utility equipment. This includes installing, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You'll work closely with schematics and blueprints, perform preventative maintenance inspections, and promote a safe work environment adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, diagnose, and repair electrical and electronic components of manufacturing and utility equipment.
  • Plan and install power supply wiring and conduit for new machines and equipment installations.
  • Disassemble, diagnose, and repair motors, pumps, packaging equipment, and HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic components.
  • Adjust mechanical devices as needed to ensure proper function.
  • Complete assigned work orders and document maintenance activities.
  • Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on process and utility equipment.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices and comply with safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 4-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance functions.
  • Proficiency in electrical wiring and electronic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and contractors.
  • Basic math skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in varied environmental conditions

Schedule: 8 hour shift | Day shift | Monday to Friday

Experience: Maintenance: 4-5 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
  • Journeyman Electrician License ---(Required)----
  • Certificate in Industrial Maintenance Technology (Preferred)
  • HVAC Technician Certifications (Preferred)
  • Electrical Wiring Certificate (Preferred)
  • PLC Technician Certificate (Preferred)
