Houseparent at Mercy Manor

As Houseparent, you will have the unique and fulfilling opportunity to serve a higher calling by creating a loving, Christian home environment for pregnant minor young women in need (ages 13-17). You will play a pivotal role in guiding them through personal challenges, helping them grow spiritually, and nurturing their emotional and physical well-being. This position offers a rewarding chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of expectant and young mothers along with their children, offering stability, support, and hope.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide spiritual leadership and daily devotions to young women.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the home, including maintaining a clean and peaceful environment.
Coordinate activities, schedules, and appointments for the women in your care.
Offer guidance in areas such as personal hygiene, parenting, and emotional growth.
Ensure the safety and well-being of residents through supervision of leisure activities, medical appointments, and overall care.
Support the development of each young woman’s individual strengths and talents.
Collaborate with case workers and school personnel to help each resident succeed academically and personally.
Encourage a loving, joyful, and peaceful atmosphere that supports healing and growth.
