We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong multitasking abilities, excellent phone skills, and a solid foundation in bookkeeping and basic accounting. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for accurate data entry into accounting software for clients, maintaining organized financial records, reconciling bank statements, summarizing bank charges and credit card statements, preparing and adjusting journal entries, and demonstrating familiarity with payroll taxes.

Responsibilities:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to multitask
  • Good telephone answering professionalism for a multiline system
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting
  • Data entry into Accounting CS software for various clients (training offered)
  • Well organized and attention to detail
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Recap bank charges and credit card statements
  • Preparation of adjusting journal entries
  • Familiarity with payroll taxes (training offered)

Full time: 8:30 to 5:00 Monday - Friday (flexibility offered)
