Overview:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and complying with regulations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the company's financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Oversight:
    • Manage all day to day accounting operations, accounting operations, including accounts payable, Payroll, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist with the annual budget, providing forecasts and variance analysis to support financial planning.
    • Monitor cash flow and financial performance, making recommendations for improvements.
  3. Reporting:
    • Assist the CFO with periodic financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
    • Assist with the annual audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and current.
  4. Team Leadership:
    • Collaborative and productive work environment.
    • Provide support to staff on accounting procedures and best practices.
  5. Compliance and Controls:
    • Maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risk.
  6. Projects
    • Maintain job Budgets
    • Review and Post Owner’s Requisitions
    • Create and enter Job Cost Expenses
    • Provide analysis for project performance and cost management
    • Assist & Train the Project Team with Costs and Billings
    • Preparation of the WIP Schedule

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, (Required)
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in accounting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (CMIC a Plus) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
