Gulfsouth Autism Center is looking for a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to work with the children and families we support through clinic-based therapy services at our Metairie location. Our unique organization helps children on the Autism Spectrum advance their skills in communication, social and daily interactions, and much more.

We are a multidisciplinary clinic that provides comprehensive treatment for children with autism spectrum disorders and related communication disorders. Our staff has a passion for working with this population, and we thrive in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with our on-site licensed psychologists, behavior analysts, occupational therapist, and other speech language pathologists.

Job Description:

* Plan and provide treatment in both group and individual settings
* Administer evaluations
* Complete necessary documentation: evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans
* Communicate regularly with parents/caregivers
* Work collaboratively with other professionals
* Conduct staff training as necessary

Requirements:

* Master's degree in speech-language pathology
* Valid Louisiana state Licensure

Preferences:

* Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
* Prior experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders or developmental delays
* Experience with augmentative and alternative communication
