Virginia Health Services is in search of Licensed Practical Nurses to join our dedicated team here at our Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers located in Hampton & Newport News, VA. These positions have a variety of openings, including Part Time and Full Time opportunities, with Day, Evening or Night shift, and every other weekend. The starting rate is at $23-$32/hour, based on experience, with a $3,000 retention bonus for full time employees

We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to care for our patients and facilitate the best quality of skilled care and long-term care for our residents. You will also be responsible for educating them and their families on the care they will be receiving.

The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will also be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.

The goal is to promote patient's well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and holds current Virginia license.
Experience/education in Gerontological Nursing preferred.
Computer knowledge preferred.
Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret information.
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, turn, bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, reach, talk, hear, taste and smell.
Must be able to lift, push, pull and move up to 50 pounds.
