We are seeking a skilled mid-senior level Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in power generation and/or power plant design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in reviewing and optimizing technical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate mechanical designs for power generation systems, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine engineering solutions that meet project specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support during all phases of the design process, from concept to implementation.
- Analyze and troubleshoot design issues, proposing innovative solutions to enhance performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technologies to ensure designs are current and compliant.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Mentor and support junior engineers in technical and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 4-12+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in power generation or power plant design.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials science.
- Proficiency in Revit and/or other related software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a registered Professional Engineer.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
