Are you an Emerging EHS Professional looking to join a world-class EHS Team? Do you have three (3) years of experience, including internships, in EHS roles?

Our global manufacturing client is looking for you for their Rancho Cucamonga, CA facility. Relocation assistance within the US is available.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for the implementation, training and oversight of EHS programs with a focus on environmental compliance programs to support the facility.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States, employer sponsorship is not available.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College / University in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Industrial Management or related discipline.
  • Three (3) or more years of OHS management experience in manufacturing (including internships).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of standard environmental, health and safety programs and auditing.

Additional Preferred (not required) Competencies:

  • Professional Certification (GSP, ASP, etc.) from a nationally recognized organization.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operations leadership and general workforce and serve as SME regarding interpretation of federal, state and local OHS regulations.
  • Lead employee training programs regarding OHS behaviors and compliance.
  • Lead/Participate in OHS audits and inspections developing remediation plans as needed.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with federal, state and local regulators.
  • Lead/Participate in Continuous Improvement initiative regarding OHS policies and programs.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state and local OHS regulations.
