Supply Chain Operations Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Supply Chain Operations Analyst to enhance our operational workflows by analyzing and improving our supply chain processes. This role is centered on data collection, analysis, and the strategic implementation of cost-effective and time-efficient supply chain solutions. Enhance our operational efficiency, optimize inventory management, refine purchase forecasting, and act as the primary liaison with suppliers to resolve order-related issues.

Salary: Dependent on Experience per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze supply chain operations to identify inefficiencies and recommend alternative solutions.
  • Manage and review order requirements using the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system.
  • Create and review RFQs (Request for Quotations), and collaborate with the Demand Planning Manager to forecast future purchasing needs based on historical trends.
  • Perform pricing analysis and analytics to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Maintain updates within the MRP system, ensuring accurate product status tracking.
  • Review detailed cost, productivity, demand, and transportation data to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, handling any procurement or delivery issues effectively.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a purchasing or supply chain role.
  • Strong proficiency in MRP systems and databases.
  • Excellent data analysis and forecasting abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory management and cost optimization.
  • Effective communication skills with aptitude in supplier management and negotiation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Analytics.
  • Professional certifications such as CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional).
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Project management skills and experience in leading supply chain projects.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain operations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software and Excel.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams.
