About The Role:

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Engineering & Product Development Project Manager will perform Project Management duties for Product Development and Engineering activities for all of Integra Beauty’s brands.

Integra Beauty is seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering and Product Development Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams responsible for the development, implementation, and launch of innovative beauty products. The Project Manager will oversee projects from concept through commercialization, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget, while meeting the high-quality standards of Integra Beauty.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably within the beauty, consumer goods, or personal care industries. This role requires a proactive leader with exceptional communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively across departments, including Product Development, Marketing, and Operations.

Position At A Glance:

Project Management:

  1. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering and product development projects, from initial concept to final product launch.
  2. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  3. Track project progress and ensure alignment with project objectives, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
  4. Lead project meetings, providing regular updates on timelines, risks, and milestones.
  5. Identify and mitigate potential risks and roadblocks to project completion.
  6. Ensure all products meet Integra Beauty’s high standards for quality, safety, and performance.
  7. Lead, as needed, continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes, reduce costs, and improve product development timelines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  1. Act as a liaison between the Product Development, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
  2. Work closely with Engineering & Product Development, vendors, and third-party manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of materials, components, and finished products.
  3. Coordinate with the Regulatory and Quality Assurance teams to ensure products meet all required certifications and compliance standards.

Performance Management & Reporting:

  1. Meet with Engineering & Product Development teams gathering and recording detailed project statuses providing guidance and ensuring on-target, on-time, & on-budget outcomes.
  2. Measure and report project progress against agreed business KPIs, working with cross-functional team members to identify gap closure plans.
  3. Propose & implement improvements to existing KPI structures and methodologies to influence desired team behavior and outcomes.

Budget and Resource Management:

  1. Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring financial targets are met.
  2. Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient use of materials, labor, and capital.
  3. Prepare regular reports on project performance, including budget forecasts and cost analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees portfolio as it pertains to scope, schedule, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, supply chain, and stakeholders, as well as the integration of said knowledge areas throughout the business.
  • Coordinates launch schedule to meet Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning targets.
  • Analyzes proposed product concepts against requirements and expected return-on-investment analyses with schedules confirmed by engineering and manufacturing.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and content, and participating in professional societies.
  • Scrutinize proposed products for design, quality, performance, conformance to brand and Product Development Process.
  • Ensure that the product and packaging will exceed customer expectations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • May be asked to test products developed.
  • Travel as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Development, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or product development, preferably within the beauty, consumer goods, or personal care industries.
  • Drives business results.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, including design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing.
  • PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification preferred.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Active information-seeking skills.

  • A track record of success in driving business results.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
