Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, personable, and bubbly Childcare Director to join our team and oversee daily operations alongside a group of experienced directors. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, loves building relationships with children and parents, and thrives in a collaborative leadership role. This position requires a blend of leadership, creativity, and strong organizational skills to create a nurturing, fun, and educational environment for children, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Collaboration: Work with a team of directors to manage daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the center. Lead with enthusiasm and support your colleagues in achieving shared goals.
- Customer Relations: Foster positive relationships with parents by providing regular updates on children’s progress, addressing concerns, and maintaining a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere.
- Program Development: Design and implement age-appropriate programs that promote the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children. Ensure all programs meet curriculum guidelines and the needs of each child.
- Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and support childcare staff, providing training and guidance. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure the center meets all safety standards and regulatory requirements, including health and hygiene practices. Conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe environment.
- Administrative Duties: Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and record-keeping. Collaborate with other directors to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Engagement & Fun: Contribute to a positive, upbeat atmosphere in the center by planning and participating in fun, educational activities and events for children and families.
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years in childcare or early childhood education, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role. Experience in collaborative leadership is a plus.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).

- Problem-Solving: Creative and empathetic approach to resolving issues.
