We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Route Analyst. This role is critical in ensuring efficient delivery operations across multiple branches, supporting customer satisfaction, and optimizing routes for maximum efficiency. The Route Analyst will report directly to the Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize and manage daily delivery routes using advanced routing systems to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Audit prior day delivery routes to identify and address service gaps.
- Coordinate and maintain delivery schedules across six branch locations.
- Manage and schedule off-route customer delivery requests and undelivered stops from prior routes.
- Analyze and recommend route changes in collaboration with the Director of Operations.
- Dispatch real-time delivery requests to appropriate route territories to ensure timely service.
- Prepare reports on route performance and suggest strategies for continuous improvement.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations, where applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operations and logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other routing optimization tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- 1–3 years of experience in fleet/route scheduling (preferred).
- Familiarity with routing systems, optimization tools, and logistics software (preferred).
- General knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations (preferred).
