Join a tight-knit team of nurse educators led by a dynamic leader, responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff. Identify the individual and collective learning needs of critical care cardiac nursing staff. Develop and implement course curriculum, incorporating evidence-based practice utilizing learning platforms that engage learners. Actively participate in the orientation of members of the Nursing staff and promote ongoing professional development. Actively participate in the Nursing orientation program and evaluate staff competence.
This is a full-time, 5-day-a-week, flex position with varied start and end times.
Preferred Criteria- Advanced Life Support Instructor Certification
- National Certification in Nursing Professional Development and/or Clinical Specialty
- Master's Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Education
- At least 3 to 5 years of acute care experience in critical care
- Current New York State RN license
- ACLS and BCLS certifications through AHA
