Job Title: Tool Crib Attendant Employee Type: Full Time, Hourly Reports to: Material Control Manager Job Location: Wichita, KS, USA
Pay Range: $17.00 - $21.00hr dependent upon experience
Experience: 2+ years of Aerospace Manufacturing Experience in a Machining EnvironmentJob Duties:
- Unload all incoming materials to ensure accurate information and quantities
- Inspect condition of materials upon arrival for any damage, correct quantities etc.
- Analyze physical storage location of material is efficient and as close to point of use as possible
- Moving and packing parts between building to prepare for shipping
- Perform general cleaning to keep warehouse and parts room organized, clean, and safe
- Maintain computer inventory systems for all purchasing and inventory requirements
- Receiving assembly items & paint into stock and maintaining level supplies.
- Check out material from Tool Crib to production floor and update quantities as needed
- Log and alert discrepancies discovered while cycle counting of actual inventory vs. system inventory
- 2+ year’s manufacturing experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment required
- Efficient computer skills
- Previous experience working with inventory controls preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, flexible and receptive to change
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to details
- Previous experience with cycle counts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word & Excel
- Familiarity with Visual ERP system or other ERP system is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some overtime may be necessary
- Ability to regularly and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Will be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, moving, carrying light and heavy loads, and climbing stairs and ladders
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE when necessary
