Radiology Technologist Assistant

Willis Knighton Radiology is seeking per-diem Radiology Technologist Assistants. The Radiology Technologist Assistant assists the department with various clerical requirements, prepares rooms for patients, cleans rooms after patients, stocks supplies and linen, transports patients, answers phones, communicates with technologists, and contributes to a positive patient experience.
Day to DayGeneral Duties- Transports patients throughout radiology, including possibly to and from emergency department or inpatient units.
- Facilitates getting patients ready for examinations, including dressing patients and assisting them on and off the examination tables.
- Sets up rooms for examinations or procedures and maintains exam rooms and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure safety for patients and employees.
- Recognizes emergent situations and responds appropriately.
- Answers the telephone, taking messages and returning calls when instructed.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
- Enrolled in an accredited Radiology Program (copy of most recent transcript needed for proof of enrollment).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Variable hours and locations (will work around your clinic and class schedules).
