KASA Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Supervisor to oversee and manage irrigation systems for Public Parks, Sports Fields, Highways, and other large-scale landscape construction projects. This position is ideal for someone with extensive experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and project oversight, with the ability to manage field crews, ensure quality standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Projects range from $500,000 to $30,000,000 and require precision, leadership, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Supervise the installation, repair, and maintenance of landscape irrigation systems, ensuring quality and compliance with project plans.
  • Lead day-to-day operations for irrigation crews, including laborers and foremen, ensuring productivity, safety, and adherence to timelines.
  • Coordinate irrigation work as part of broader site development projects that include grading, earthwork, underground utilities, concrete structures, and landscaping.
  • Monitor and inspect work to ensure alignment with project drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
  • Prepare and submit daily progress reports, material logs, and time records.
  • Assist Project Managers with payment applications, scheduling, and procurement of irrigation materials and supplies.
  • Conduct quality control inspections for irrigation systems, including water pressure checks, alignment, zoning, and functionality.
  • Implement and enforce KASA Construction's Safety and Health Management Program, ensuring jobsite safety and mentoring teams on safety practices.
  • Attend and participate in project meetings to review progress, resolve issues, and communicate with subcontractors, owners, and engineers.
  • Develop short-term schedules and coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to meet project deadlines.
  • Train and mentor irrigation crew members to promote skills development and leadership within the team.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

  • 5+ years of experience in irrigation systems installation, supervision, or landscape construction.
  • Proven ability to lead field teams on large-scale public and private projects.
  • Strong understanding of irrigation system components (valves, sprinklers, controllers, pumps, mainlines, etc.), maintenance procedures, and water management principles.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and irrigation plans.
  • Broad knowledge of earthwork, grading, and landscape construction processes.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with field management software is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for team coordination, reporting, and client interactions.
  • Certifications:
    • OSHA 30 Certification (preferred)
    • First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Ability to perform manual labor as needed and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel to job sites within the region.

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday (8-hour shift).
  • Occasional overtime may be required based on workload.
