We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team and help support our operations in ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment.

Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Worker, you will play an integral role in the daily operations of our steel distribution center. Your responsibilities will include handling, organizing, and preparing steel products for distribution, as well as maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handling
  • Load and unload steel materials using forklifts, cranes, and other equipment.
  • Safely handle and store steel products, ensuring they are organized and accessible.
Order Fulfillment
  • Accurately pick and prepare steel products for customer orders.
  • Ensure orders are packed securely for delivery or pickup.
Inventory Management
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Report inventory discrepancies to management promptly.
Equipment Operation
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
Safety and Compliance
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
General Warehouse Duties
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
  • Assist with receiving shipments, inspecting materials, and processing returns.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or steel distribution environment is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to [specify weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs]).
  • Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other heavy machinery (certifications are a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math and measurement skills for reading and interpreting orders.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
