Unique Landscapes & Custom Pools is seeking an experienced and organized Residential Hardscape/Landscape Superintendent to manage all aspects of residential landscape and hardscape construction. As a Superintendent, you will oversee multiple crews working on high-end residential projects, including landscape design, hardscaping, masonry, and general outdoor construction. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, and with top-tier quality. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Crew Management: Lead and supervise 2 to 3 crews (10-15 workers) across multiple job sites, ensuring proper execution of landscape and hardscape projects.
  • Project Scheduling: Oversee the scheduling and coordination of project timelines, balancing multiple activities in various stages of pre-construction, active construction, and closeout.
  • Job Site Supervision: Conduct daily job site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and address any issues or changes in the field.
  • Client & Subcontractor Communication: Act as the main point of contact between clients, crews, and subcontractors, ensuring clear, professional communication throughout the project.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly address and resolve any issues that arise during construction, providing solutions to maintain the project schedule.
  • Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of the construction process, including landscaping, hardscaping, masonry, paver and stone patios, framing, electrical, and gas work.
  • People Management: Lead, mentor, and train crews in various construction techniques, helping them develop new skills and improve their performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards, meeting client expectations and project specifications.
  • Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols on all job sites, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.
  • Completion Bonuses: Earn bonuses based on the timely and successful completion of projects, motivating your team to deliver excellent results.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess

  • 2+ years of experience in landscape, hardscape, or general construction management (pool experience is a plus but not required).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and crews (10-15 employees) effectively.
  • Experience in landscaping, masonry, paver/stone patios, and general construction (knowledge of framing, electrical, and plumbing is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish (bilingual candidates are highly preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Leadership qualities: Proven ability to lead, train, and inspire teams to complete projects efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
